A regular maintenance and cleaning plan can extend the life of your carpets. Dirt and other stains, if not cleaned for a long time, can cause a bad smell out from your carpets. It can also cause allergies to many people due to various organisms living in it. So if you clean it regularly, you can easily avoid such problems.

It is important that you clean carpets immediately after the spills to avoid permanent staining. Use tissue paper to soak as much of the spill as possible. A cleansing agent afterwards should get rid of the dirt. If you do not have a cleansing agent, use club soda. This is great to use at home.

Never scrub at the spill else it may go even deeper in the carpet. Simply saturate the spot with the cleanser and slowly blot there using some tissue paper or paper towel. It will remove the stain slowly.

Clean your carpets thoroughly with a regular vacuum cleaning schedule. All dust particles and added dirt will disappear through this cleaning process. Dirt does damage carpets by rubbing against the delicate fibers. You will be able to avoid this type of erosion through vacuuming your carpets regularly.

It is important that you vacuum-clean the carpets before you start with steam cleaning. Dust can create mud with the steam. So if you properly vacuum-clean first, you can avoid this problem. Using vacuuming in different directions, you can remove a great part of the dirt absorbed in the carpet.

The carpets are now ready for the process of steam cleaning. Use a high pressure cleaner together with detergents and hot water to steam your carpets properly. You can always ask a professional company to assist you. They use a steam cleaning machine. Many people also know it as hot water extraction.

You should use the solution made exclusively by the manufacturer for the machine. But you can also use the hot water and oxygen cleaning powder mix at your home as a cheap alternative. Before steam cleaning, spray a carpet pretreatment. It helps in removing the stains faster.

You should run the machine over the stains for a few minutes. This will ensure a proper scrubbing by the brushes on the machine and remove all the dirt. Also see that a good amount of water goes into the carpet. Stains will go away quicker with this. After the cleaning, soak out as much water as you can. Use fans and open the windows for a quick drying of the carpet.

Packing up camping euipment and gear when you get home is always a chore, especially when the weather has not been as good as you had hoped. Last time we went camping it rained heavily several times and just about everything was splattered or covered in mud and wet.

As you are packing up your camp do your best to wipe or brush off the mud and dry equipent.
Anything wet that can’t be dried will have to be aired at home.
Make sure tents and swags get dry, especiallycanvas ones as they can become mouldy.
When you get home unpack and keep separate anything that needs washing or drying.
Pack away what you can straight away, then tend to the muddy and wet things.
If you are trying to get the equipment dry and it’s raining or too cold, place them in an area like a shed or garage.
Tents don’t have to be setup but drape them over a trailer or chairs etc to allow the air to dry the tent quicker.
Sleeping bags are best stored hanging or loosely folded on a shelf.
Do any repairs, replace equipment, remove batteries if necessary, or at least make a list of things that must be done before next time.
Clean out the esky, portable fridge and food containers or boxes to prevent mould and nasty smells happening.
There is nothing like finding some stinky suprises next time you are getting ready for your next camping trip.
Add to your checklist if you think of new things to take next time.

Geeting home after camping is usually not much fun, but if you make the effort to pack up your equipment properly as soon as possible, your next trip will be so much easier. Then you can enjoy the Great Outdoors again!

An average hair fall for a human body to shed is 50-100 strands of hair in one day if you have about 100,000 hairs on your head. There isn’t a really normal or abnormal number of hair shedding as it depends on the numbers of hair on your head. Take note that 10 % of hair shedding is normal according to a dermatologist. So if you think that you may be going bald because you see hairs around the floor of Las Vegas homes, then consider that maybe it is just part of a normal bodily function.

Hair strand can be quite annoying to clean. They seem to be everywhere! You can find a couple of strands when you wake up on your pillow. The hardest area to clean and where most hair strands accumulate is usually on the bathroom of Las Vegas homes.

Usually, you notice your hairs falling when you wash your hair or when combing. These activities are typically done inside a restroom or in the bathroom. If you are not going to clean the bathroom floor filled with strands of hair, then it will clog your drain and even your pipes. Neglecting the issue may cause homeowners to spend on extra repairs and make the bathroom inaccessible for some time.

The hair is the least of your worries. These clumps of hair strands may even be a source of breeding ground for bacteria and germs. Hairs jumbled together and tend to stick, making dirt and bacteria get mixed with the mass. It is advised to remove fallen hair strands as often as possible to prevent drainage problems, especially in the bathroom of Las Vegas homes. Here are some tips to remove hair strands on the bathroom floor and how to prevent clog-ups:

Use a vacuum. This a simple and easy way to remove those hair strands. Vacuums basically suck the hair strand into the attached bag. But be careful in using this device as it may damage some of the finishing of the room.
Broom and dustpan. Plainly use a broom to sweep off the fallen strands. You can use this if the floor and the hair strands are both dry.
Mops and dust cloths. This is used when picking up wet hairs. You can use your hands to wipe the floor by means of dust cloths. This will allow you to pick up all of the wet strands on the floor. Meanwhile, it may be uncomfortable to use a mop because you are both using your hands and feet. But a mop can cover larger areas. For you to be able to work upright, purchase a mop with a long handle. You may also manipulate the mop using your foot and wipe the cloth against the floor.
Manually. If you are not particularly queasy on manually cleaning the hairs on the floor, you can use your hands to gather hair strands. Hair strands usually collect at the drain since they are taken there by flowing water. You may simply pick up the strands left and throw it in the trashcan.
Place a filter on the drain. Make sure that the filter is a tight mesh to prevent the hair from passing through the drain which usually causes clogs. The filter will catch the strands and it would be easier to clean the accumulated hair strands.
Let them dry. The aforementioned suggestions work well on wet hair and some for dry hair. But it is best to let the bathroom dry first before removing the strands of hair.
Pick up wet clumps of hair. Some people cut their hair in the bathroom. It is better to pick up the wet clumps right after trimming instead of letting them dry as they might scatter on the bathroom floor and will be difficult to clean afterwards.
